Inclusive Teaching
Whether working with children, adolescents, or adults, I believe that education should instill people with the skills, knowledge, and practice to become self-directed agents of their own futures. Theatre and dance provide a forum for students to become confident in their bodies and voices, enabling them to develop a commanding presence that will serve them in life. These mediums also provide students opportunities to develop competency in 21st-century career skills such as collaboration, communication, and creativity. My classroom connects students to themselves, their peers, and their world in ways that will best prepare them for a life of success.—it’s a reflection of what we believe in. Primary Education
